36 weeks preggers

So I'm 36 weeks along...20 days to go!  I was playing with Davis this weekend and it dawned on me that we'll only have him alone for one more weekend...kinda scary!  The boys are actually on there way down to Uncle Kevin's house and I'm really sad because I seriously couldn't go with and stand being so uncomfortable.  I'm as big as a house now and she's constantly pushing her little feet into my right rib...I'm surprised I don't have bruises!

How far along? 36 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 172
Stretch marks? No but I thought I saw one the other day and freaked out!
Sleep: Johns been kind enough to let me sleep wherever it may be
Best moment this week: Enjoying thanksgiving without remotely dieting
Movement: More like constant pushing than the kicks and punches from back in the day
Food cravings: Jamie DiMarco's sweet potatoes
Labor Signs: Some light spotting and mild cramping
Belly Button in or out? John swears it was out right after thanksgiving dinner but I beg to differ  :)  Still no golfing in January as of now
What I miss: Being comfortable in general.  Being able to jump up out of bed, bend over without completely squating

What I am looking forward to: Hearing her cry for the very first time

Measurements: hips 40" waist 42" bust 40"-even bigger than a michellin man around the middle!!!

34 weeks 5 days preggers--29 days to go!

This morning I woke up on the couch yet again.  It seems to be more comfortable so I guess it's alright but I miss cuddling with John.  I've been feeling really great during the day except I've been having serious cramps down there, especially in the mornings.  It subsides in about 30 seconds so it's completely bearable...I just wonder if these are the BH contractions that everybody is talking about?  

We went to see Dr. Jadali yesterday and we were able to see Ava in 3d so it was totally worth it!  She has completely filled out in the face-she's got the cutest chubby cheeks!!!  She weights approx. 5 lbs 5 oz and is in the 58% percentile.  I also had his quadruple check if she is in fact a girl...he took a 3d pic of her private parts to prove it-my poor baby has no privacy!  But yes indeed she is still my little princess.  

Nursery Update-I think the wall hanging are cute...even though they may over do it a little  :) lol.  But she only really has a nursery corner so we have to make it super dooper cute!  Hopefully John will be so kind and hang those by this weekend.

Davis mentioned having his name above his bed so I looked all over, and couldn't find any kid friendly letters....they all had boats or farm animals on them....no super heroes????  So we bought him a huge Hulk Fat Head to put behind his bed..we're thinking of giving it to him as a big brother present.   I also got him a few other hulk things for xmas-like a hulk watch, some big boy boxers and a hand held game for trips to Havasu.  I'm really aiming to be done xmas shopping by the middle of december because I'm sure it will be the LAST thing I feel like doing once Ava makes her arrival.  I can't wait for Davis to meet his little sister  :)

My Perfect Baby Shower

Leanne threw the best baby shower for us today!  I couldn't imagine it being any more perfect  :)

Dad's 60th Birthday in Havasu

We had another great vacation last weekend and the boat is AMAZING!!!  I know we're going to have so many wonderful times on the boat and I'm looking forward to every one of them!  I'm so happy that Daddy's midlife crisis present was something the whole family will enjoy  :)

I bought Ava a pink infant life jacket---so darn cute!  I hope she'll be cozy in it!

In other news...I found out yesterday that Molly, one of my best friends from Cal Poly, IS PREGNANT!!!  I'm so excited for her!  She's 5 weeks...I remember being 5 weeks pregnant like it was yesterday--She's coming to the shower this weekend and I can't wait to see her!  I hope she feels well!

Update: 33 weeks 4 days preggers...up to 166 lbs (27-32 pounds depending POV)but who's counting?!?!?  Oh, I am!  Ava better be a big baby or I'm going to have my work cut out for me!  With 38 days left I think I'll probably gain right around 35 total.  I can't believe I'm actually putting these numbers where somebody can see...but it is MY BLOG so I'll  do what I want  :)

Nursery Update

So not much has really changed but I still wanted to post this new picture of the shelves and the bouncer  :)  As for being pregnant, I feel fantastic and I've been sleeping much better!  I went to bed bath and beyond and bought us a heated mattress pad-which makes our bed sooo inviting!  We also moved the puppies to their crate for bedtime which I think is helping out.  My Kohls order came today too...I love Kohls!  I got a vera wang pj set for the hospital and some ladybug baby items too.  With free shipping and an extra 20% off order I just don't know how they stay in business...plus on top of it they sent me $20 kohls cash.  They are just giving the stuff away!

We have our first baby class Wednesday night and then we're leaving for Lake Havasu on Thursday morning...so excited to see the new boat!  With everything we do lately I keep wondering...How are we going to do "this" with the baby?  How are we going to travel?  How am I going to walk the dogs?  How will I manage to get my hair done?  I'm sure everything works out but right now I just can't imagine how!!

Counting down the days 'til my shower...darling Leanne had us over to taste her cheese blintz casserole--so yummy that I ate a piece and a half!!  I'm really excited with the number of ladies coming so far...only bummer is Aunt Wendy can't make it  :(
