Pumkin Carving

So last night we came up with a new family tradition....Pumpkin Carving! I know it's not very original but I can't even remember the last time I carved a pumpkin....I forgot how entertaining it is! And now that I've developed into such an artist, my pumpkin carving skills are much more sophisticated then in my amateur days ;-)

Team Bride Dresses

So I'm bored at work looking at BM's dresses and I found a few I like...I have a girl I've been working with that orders them direct to save cost. The prices per dress is below.

I would like John's tie to be Ivory to match my dress and then the guys ties to be red to match the girls.

Team Bride!

I went to San Diego with the girls last weekend to discuss wedding plans...3 of us are getting married next June! It's going to be a busy year...and a fun year! Caitlin and I decided to have a joint bachelorette party in February...we're going to go up to Paso Robles for the weekend to go wine tasting! Also, Caitlins mom owns a restaurant in Paso and we're all going to go there for dinner one of the nights to celebrate. I can't wait!

Go Dodgers!

For the first time in 20 years the dodgers are in the NLCS!!! John was really excited about going but tickets were $275 a piece so he passed up realizing that we need to save for the wedding. Then yesterday a guy was selling a pair for face value at my work! So needless to say we ended up going and I'm glad we did...there is definately a different feeling at dodger stadium when it's a championship game. But they lost-boo! (I think John was bad luck because the dodgers never win when he goes to games)

Flower Girl Dresses!

We get to have our 7 nieces ALL be flower girls in the wedding!  So far I have found a bunch of cute dresses on www.cottoncandydress.com and I'm thinking about letting each girl pick her own dress as long as it's the right colors :)

Wedding Ideas

I really like black (torn between tux and suit) but I definitely want John to wear an ivory tie to match my dress and the rest of the guys to wear red ties! And no boutonnieres-I don't really like guys with flowers.
I'm trying to find paper to do this myself and save some money...I think were still a ways off from the final details though!
I like this cake...John is more into the cupcake/cake look so we'll see what we can come up with to mix the two ideas!

This is a wedding at our venue and with the same colors! I like the candles on the fireplace...simple yet elegant.
This is another shot of the room...I like the colors but I want red charger plates under the napkins!

We are also having the chiffari chairs for the ceremony but red flowers....smaller than this but kind of the same idea.
The exact bouquet I want! I'm still not sure how I want it tied though...
So torn on my hair...I know I don't want flowers but I like how hers is done.
